A Dominant display from  St Nicholas saw them take three points on the day . St Nicholas took an early lead on seven minutes when James Scanlon powerfully headed home a superb cross from the right from Jack Redigan. St Nicholas had numerous chances to extend their lead with chances from (SOS ) not Shearer&Sutton from their Blackburn Rovers days but it was Scanlon & Sutton of St Nicks.

They doubled their lead on 20 mins when Aaron Blanche curled in a left footer to the far top corner after Moyglass failed to clear their lines, Moyglass just couldn’t get a flow to their game as the St Nicks midfield pressed all day long with Daly and Downey winning the midfield battle , Moyglass had a few long range efforts but did not trouble the St Nicholas rear guard . St Nicholas had several goal scoring opportunities hitting the crossbar twice from Downey and Redigan but got a third on 40 mins when Sean Daly finished off an excellent all round team goal from just inside the 18 yard box ,Half time 0 - 3

St Nicholas put the game to bed inside a minute of the restart when Jack Redigan bundled the ball home after some good build up play down the left from Thomas Flynn. St Nicholas emptied their bench and substitute Philip Doherty had an effort well saved from the Moyglass goalie , Jason Sutton had another few chances that were saved by the Moyglass keeper, Moyglass did improve  but failed to break down a well organised defence of Fitzgerald, Buckley ,Blanche and Riordan.

A well deserved win for the away side who take 3pts back to Sologhead.
