St Nicholas AFC was formed in 1979 by Michael Kennedy ,John Ryan (s),Danny O 'Dwyer & Gerry Dwyer.
The Club has played in the Tipperary Southern & District League since its formation.

Before St Nicholas AFC were formed the local team was known as The Junction Ramblers,

St Nicholas AFC have played in various venues since it's formation in 79 ,Tom Powers,Willie Conways,and Pat O Horas,
before developing our own facilities at Danny O' Dwyer park in Bothertrime,
Which was officially opened in 2009 by Ireland senior manager
Giovanni Trappatoni.
